Eric Chase is a criminal defense attorney based in Kern County California. He has been a criminal defense trial lawyer 1987 when he began as a public defender in New York City, specifically, The Bronx. He was licensed in California in 1990 and began a successful private practice in 1994. As a private attorney overseeing one of the largest criminal defense firms in California for 20+ years, Mr. Chase has tried (and won many) cases throughout California and around the country including jury trials in Texas, Nevada, South Dakota, and Oregon.
For the past four years, Mr. Chase has been focusing on representing indigent defendants through the Indigent Defense Panel of the Kern County Bar Association.
Though Mr. Chase will consider the representation of private clients, he is selective in the few private cases he will accept.
